Mission Statement

The Center for Election Excellence is a nonpartisan, nonprofit research and communications entity that is dedicated to:
  • bringing together the expertise of all fields offering vital work and insights for the understanding, improvement, and support of election administration;
  • bridging the gaps and building the relationships that will allow the best of all relevant professional paths - including "the real world of elections" personnel, university and think tank researchers, government officials and policy leaders, private consultants and vendors, and advocacy organizations - to work more effectively for successful elections;
  • fostering cooperative efforts and applying sound insights toward highly successful elections in Ohio: specifically fair, accurate, administratively effective, fiscally sound, and publicly trusted elections.
The Center will undertake all operational objectives and projects in a strictly nonpartisan, independent manner according to the highest ethical, academic and legal standards of conduct. Opinions expressed by any individual associated with the Center for Election Excellence represent the views of the individual, and not the Center.
