Ohio 2008 Post Election Audit Review
CASE Ohio Reports
Written by Ron Olson
Sunday, 01 February 2009 00:00

Ohio Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner published directives that led to the first post election audits in Ohio. Directive 2008-39 specified voluntary pilot audits after the March Primary election and Directive 2008-113 called for all counties to do audits for the Presidential contest after the November General election. Secretary Brunner and all Boards of Elections (BOE’s) that carried out these audits are to be commended for their efforts.

The Audit Review includes

  • Summary of observer comments by County
  • Findings and Recommendations based on the observer comments
  • A review of Directive 2008-113
